In a few months, my husband and I will be celebrating our 5 years wedding anniversary. I sincerely find it hard to believe we’ve been married for 5 years.
Some say the first year of marriage is always difficult, some say it’s the first three years, others say it’s five years. I do not believe any of it to be true and I did not experience that. No year of marriage was meant to be difficult, even when difficult decisions are to be made.
My husband and I have navigated a few turbulent waters, but through God’s help, we have been doing it together, always as a team, on each others side, as partners.
Marriage is meant to be honorable from the first day till death do you part.
However, a marriage is only as good as the individuals in it and the foundation laid during the courtship.
In this 5th year of marriage, I feel a strong desire to partner with my Heavenly Father to help build more godly and honorable marriages.
