As a young girl of about 10 years of age, I dreamt of growing up to become an author. I used to imagine having a work space in my home from which I would write to touch the world, so I named my writing job/ministry -“PenTouch”, lol. And no, I did not imagine whiny toddlers or crying babies distracting me while I work.😂

Of course, life has hit so many times and in so many ways, that writing has often times taken a back seat. My greatest season of absolute lack of inspiration is when I’m pregnant, it’s always as though my brain goes on a 10 month vacation😂. But just as with every great passion, writing keeps coming back to the fore of my mind and life. I believe it is wired into the deepest parts of me. I would easily self identify as a writer just as I would as a physical therapist.

A writer is who I am when I’m done being other things

My second passion is counselling young ladies about love and relationships. I love to help Christian ladies navigate the murky waters of who to love and get married to, how to say NO to premarital sex and build a God glorifying courtship etc. Of course, I’m going to write a lot about this topic 😁
As a single lady, I built a library of about 20 books on this subject, attended every seminar on relationships that I heard of, because I wanted to get it right, and today, I am happily married to the love of my life. He is my first, my only, my forever. We courted for about 7 years and have been married for 5 years, so I also counsel from a place of experience. God, however, remains my greatest source of inspiration!

A marriage is only as good as the individuals in it and the foundation laid during courtship!

They say nobody reads blogs anymore, if you’re reading this, then they lied! So in the next one year, if you choose to follow my blog, as I hope you would, you will find a huge dose of godly inspiration, mixed with a little bit of dry humor, to become the right spouse, choose the right spouse and build a God glorifying courtship and marriage.
All it’s going to cost you, is to hit that follow button that pops up in the bottom right hand corner of your phone 😉
